    Great for clearing out the driveway after my red oaks cover the ground with leaves. This has all the power I need for 12,000 sq ft yard space. I've had zero trouble getting the BG86 started. I use it weekly since I have 12 full grown trees in my yard

    I bought this a month ago to replace my Stihl BG 85, t that lasted over 15 years before it finally went bad. I also purchased the gutter cleaning kit with tubes and clamps to clean my gutters out it worked amazingly.

    I started a mobile wash and bought this for drying. I think northern tool was out of new ones so I got the one off of the shelf. It has the round tip on it, and I think I’d really rather have the crimped tip, or flat tip whatever it’s called so it concentrates the air better for better drying. Not sure if there would’ve been one of these tips in the box if there had been a new one or not. I’d really like one though. The round tip does blow air, but it’s like it’s just volume and no pressure.

    After reading about the complete line of gas powered Stihl blowers, and comparing models, I decided on the BG 86, which I thought would be a good, all around blower for my residential use. The blower cranks easily and does a good job. I thought it would blow a little harder than it actually does, however. It does a good job, but now as powerful as I was expecting. Maybe my expectations were too high. For the average homeowner, you can't go wrong with this model.

    Great little blower; works well; like anything it could use some improvement; LH operation is an issue because the blower fan intake is on the right side and tries to suck my trousers off - I’d recommend a bottom intake path instead; the exhaust from this thing tends to blow right in my face somehow - it makes me nauseous if I use it too long - I’d recommend porting the exhaust gasses out with the blower payload since you’re already creating a vacuum it could just as easily serve as an exhaust escape mechanism away from the operator.

    I love this product my only reservation is the 50 seems to have the same power but half the cost. I own both but just bought the 50 because I lost a part to the 86 and needed a blower for the day.

    Mt favorite tool for cleaning up leaves in the yard and for blowing out my gutters! Easy to start and easy to handle with plenty of power to do the job right.
